Privacy Policy
The short version. Mesurix does its work entirely on your device. There is no account, no login and no cloud. Your measurements never leave your phone. The only data that leaves the device is what Apple needs to run a subscription and a small amount of anonymous usage analytics — described below.
1. Who we are
Mesurix (the "app") is published by Vastflow ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us any time via our contact page. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle.
2. What stays on your device
Mesurix is a measuring tool. Everything central to the app is computed locally and stored only on your iPhone:
- Screen calibration — the on-device scaling factor you set against a bank card.
- Measurements and saved sizes — ring sizes, ruler readings and any profiles you save ("Me", "Partner", etc.).
- App settings and preferences — your chosen size standard, units and similar non-sensitive flags.
This information is held in local storage on your device. We never receive it, and it is removed when you delete the app.
3. What we do not collect
- No name, email or account — the app has no sign-in.
- No contacts, photos library or files. The app does not require those permissions to measure.
- No precise location.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers — ever.
4. Sensors and permissions
Some tools use your device hardware locally:
- Motion sensors power the bubble level. The readings are used in real time and are not recorded or transmitted.
- Camera is only requested if you use an optional camera-based measuring feature, and only while that feature is open. No images are uploaded; nothing is stored unless you explicitly save it.
You can review or revoke any permission in Settings → Mesurix on your iPhone at any time.
5. Subscriptions
Mesurix offers an optional Pro subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment details. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider, which receives an anonymous, app-generated identifier and your purchase state so the app knows whether Pro is active. It does not receive your name or contact details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
6. Analytics and stability
To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, the app may send a small amount of anonymous, aggregated usage and diagnostic data via Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics). This is limited to funnel events — for example, that a calibration or a measurement was completed, or that a screen was viewed. These events are never tied to your identity and never include the actual sizes or values you measure. See Firebase's privacy information.
7. Children
Mesurix is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Because we do not hold an account or personal profile for you, there is no personal account data for us to export or delete. To remove all locally stored data, simply delete the app. For any question about this policy or the limited third-party data described above, reach us via our contact page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
